If you are going through a tough time, read this email.

In the early 90s, scientists constructed a research facility

in Arizona and called it Biosphere 2.

Inside the dome-shaped Biosphere 2 is a mini Earth.

Purified air.

Clean water.

Nutrient rich soil.

Lots of natural light.

Purpose of Biosphere 2 is to assess if humans can live

in a self-sustaining enclosure placed in outer space.

But something strange happened.

And it baffled the scientists.

The trees in Biosphere 2 will grow quickly at first.

But before they reach their full height, the trees will fall over.

Despite perfect conditions, trees in Biosphere 2 die early.

So why are the trees such a pushover?

The answer will surprise you.

Because there is no wind!

In the natural environment, trees respond to wind pressure

by growing thicker bark and deeper roots.

But in Biosphere 2, the trees were weak without wind.

Hence, they fall over when they grew too tall.

Though wind are trees’ natural enemy,

wind makes trees stronger.

Perhaps you are also going through a stormy season now.

Lots of howling wind threatening to displace you.

But take heart – you are getting stronger!

Like the bark, harden your resolve.

Like the roots, dig deep into your “why”.

When the storm is over, you will find yourself

taller, stronger and more resilient than ever.

From a tall tree,

Eric Feng

STOP CARING ABOUT THE LIKES, SHARES AND VIEWS...

These are just fruits.

If a farmer wants his tree to bear fruits, he does not focus on the fruits. He focus on the soil, the water and the sun.

Likewise if you want your social media tree to bear fruits (likes, shares, views), focus on the soil, the water and the sun.
