Going through a difficult time? This will help.

Have you ever wish for your life to be easier? I do… all the time… especially when I am going through a tough season in my life.

At 17, I nearly lost my mum to an illness. At 28, I got into a lawsuit with my former business partners.

At 32, I was burnt out and lost my direction. At 36, I find myself in a million dollar business debt.

Each time I went through a difficult time, my first instinct was to wish it away. But looking back now at 42, I was glad I didn’t have such “powers”.

If I haven’t nearly lost my mum at such young age, I would have continued to take her for granted. Because of this traumatic incident, my relationship with her is so much closer, even till today. If I haven’t got into a lawsuit with my former business partners, I would not have valued the importance of self-control and contracts. If I haven’t gotten burnt out and suffer a series of panic attacks, I would never have stopped and reflected on my true purpose in life. I would have worked myself to the grave by now. If I haven’t gotten into the million dollar business debt, I would have never acquired the ability to create wealth under pressure. Today I am so much more confident as an entrepreneur. I know that even if I lose all my money, I can make it back.

Now you know why I was glad that I didn’t have an easy life.

Difficulties teach you lessons that will make you a better person.

Difficulties help you discover your core values and real purpose in life. Difficulties release your innate abilities so you do big things in life.

So the next time you go through a difficult

time, don’t wish it away.

Instead, wish to be stronger.

So strong that you can withstand the

difficult situation/emotions/people and

acquire the gifts hidden behind them.

Insights and wisdom.

New opportunities.

Clarity and purpose.

Abilities to impact millions.
