I had the privilege of witnessing the behind the scenes and if you see the amount of work that she has to be put in, you will not envy her.

Yet on the first day of her opening at Gram Pancakes Singapore she had an enormously long queue eagerly waiting outside her shop. Reviews were phenomenal on social media and the number of congratulatory flower hampers she received were as many as the pancakes she served that day.

Someone who doesn’t know her and saw her public success may think she had it easy. He or she will likely not see the number of private failures that lead up to that glorious success.

So if you are one of them, take heart! Do not compare your behind the scenes with your peers’ success story. He or she probably had to sacrifice a lot to get to where they are.
